Many games were revealed at The Game Awards of 2018. Some of those are arguably better than others, as fans of gaming were given a fairly mixed bag of titles to look forward to as we move into 2019. A game that drop-kicked us in the face during a mid-announcement was Mortal Kombat 11 by NetherRealm Studios
The trailer, for the most part, showed us the classic  characters of Scorpion and Raiden, as they brutally beat the flesh and bone off of one another in the MK signature style of gore. Shao Khan made an appearance near the end of the trailer and, even before he appears, there’s a female character that we have no current details about.

In fact, the only details we really have is that the game will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23rd, 2019. Additionally, if you pre-order the game, starting December 8th, you will have access to the game’s beta and the Shao Kahn DLC.

Now, it wouldn’t be an MK trailer without a song that hypes the action in the background. This trailer features a track from 21 Savage that is currently titled “Immortal”, but has yet to release officially, but fans have already been making their own extended versions and iterations of the track to keep the wait for the official audio an easy one.

The trailer has no actual in-game gameplay, since it is all CGI based, but it should be enough until they unveil gameplay at their community reveal that is said to take place on January 17th.
Mortal Kombat has risen once again from the Krypt and will most definitely feature an array of new characters to customize, master, and viciously pummel into the grave. View the trailer below!
Which characters do you want to make an appearance in the upcoming installment?

I'm just a random guy with a passion for all things gaming, writing, editing, and anime related. I'm open-minded about pretty much everything, and I try my best not to kill people who reach for my controller while I play. (Disclaimer: If you do decide to do that, be prepared to come up missing). Other than that, we should get along just fine!!
