Capcom is known to have a lot of features and additional fan favorited characters implemented into either of their game franchises so far. This next addition to their Monster Hunter: World title will feature CD Projekt Red’s very own Witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia.
This will be a cross-over that takes place early next year, but will be a free update available on PS4 and Xbox One, and an eventual PC release.
Geralt will be transported to the Monster Hunter open-world by a portal, where the players can then “utilize his signature fighting style” according to Capcom. It will “offer a unique gameplay experience blending RPG mechanics of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with Monster Hunter: World’s game systems.”
Not only that, but Capcom has a very expansive update called Iceborne. Iceborne will have a plethora of new monsters, equipment, locations, and quest ranks that are coupled with a fresh story-line that takes place after the main story.
As for December, players can participate in the Winter Star fest that will go on through December 17th that features nearly all of the older Event Quests, but also newer ones. It’ll also come with a new hunter, Palico gear to forge, and daily unlimited bounties.
On December 20th, Capcom plans the return of Kulve Taroth Siege. It’s said to have a more challenging Arch-Tempered version of the monster, allowing for a chance to attain even better rewards. Additionally, Capcom will be hosting an Appreciation Fest for the game’s first anniversary. “Special equipment” will be granted through the festival related quests, says Capcom.
If you haven’t been playing Monster Hunter: World, here’s a reason to get your character back to prominence!

I'm just a random guy with a passion for all things gaming, writing, editing, and anime related. I'm open-minded about pretty much everything, and I try my best not to kill people who reach for my controller while I play. (Disclaimer: If you do decide to do that, be prepared to come up missing). Other than that, we should get along just fine!!
