With the Game Awards to arrive within just the next week, more games have been hinted as the event approaches. The Dragon Age franchise has had a few remarks as it relates to BioWare’s General Manager, Casey Hudson. “Secret Dragon Age stuff” he said, that he and executive producer for Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mark Darrah had mentioned on social media just previously.
“Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we’re excited to continue its legacy,” Hudson stated. “Look for more on this in the coming month (though I won’t tell you where to look).”
Dragon Age hasn’t had much attention since its last release, Dragon Age: Inquisition. Dragon Age: Inquisition had an impressive level of success and even reached game of the year status back in 2014. However, BioWare shifted their focus to other focuses in the time since then, like Mass Effect’s most recent Mass Effect: Andromeda, and of course, Anthem. Alexis Kennedy will be on board with writing for the next Dragon Age game as a guest with input, which was stated in Early 2017.
More information will be given during the game awards or even just before then so we can have something to expect and look forward to in the event.
